I am detail-oriented and passionate about clear communication.

As an editor, my job is to elevate your writing so your thoughts and ideas shine through. While my background is in the sciences, including a BSc in Oceanography and PhD in Zoology, I work with artists and creators much of the time. I have an editing certificate from Queen’s University and am a member of Editors Canada.

My specialties are:

• Academic writing – journal articles, monographs, book chapters, and dissertations in the physical sciences, social sciences, humanities, and medicine;

• Creative writing – novels, poetry, and nonfiction; and

• Business writing – reports, white papers, newsletters, and grants.
